Breathe by Linda Andrus

Breathe is the full on story of Musa Linda Andrus, she candidly shares her experiences as a ER nurse during the COVID pandemic. Her years of nursing and life experience traveling the world could not have prepared her for the intense emotional toil of 84 hour workweeks, watching patients die daily, political hostility and workplace violence, the abandonment by friends and family, and the failure of the healthcare system she had devoted herself to. Linda tells of earlier traumas in the backcountry and how a life centered on the outdoors and nursing has changed her. It’s a great read, and we are so proud to offer it here!
